Maintenance Cost Tracking
Is it the driver, or is it the brakes?
Some cost per km problems are mechanical. Vinsag overlays maintenance and repair spend on fuel cost so you can separate fuel waste from vehicles that need the workshop.
- TR-03₹6.52
- TR-07₹6.81
- TR-09₹8.14
- TR-11₹6.86
- TR-14₹7.58
TR-09 cost is mechanical, not behavioral: brake and tyre work account for most of its premium. TR-14 is the opposite: fuel is high, maintenance is normal.

How the maintenance overlay works
Maintenance is logged per vehicle
Service, tyres, brakes and repairs are recorded against the vehicle, from your workshop records or a simple upload.
Cost is spread over kilometers
Each maintenance spend is converted to ₹/km over the distance it covers, so it sits next to fuel on the same scale.
Mechanical drivers are separated
A vehicle with rising fuel use and normal driving behavior is flagged as a likely mechanical case: tyre pressure, injectors, dragging brakes.
Before and after is measured
After a repair, the next trips show whether fuel cost per km came back to the lane benchmark.

Outcomes
Why it matters
- Stop coaching drivers for problems that are really mechanical
- See which vehicles have the highest total cost per km, fuel plus maintenance
- Measure whether a repair actually brought fuel consumption back
- Build a case for replacing vehicles that no longer pay their way

EXIT 01 Fuel audit
Your fleet's cheapest trip already happened. Make it the standard.
A fuel audit maps cost per km across your recent trips and shows which causes are worth fixing first.
